Dr. Patrick Marvil is a board-certified Family Physician who joined Post Falls Family Medicine in 2021 after completing his residency at Kootenai Clinic Family Medicine Residency of Coeur d’Alene. He received a BS in Oceanography with Honors from the United States Naval Academy. He then went on to serve as a Marine helicopter pilot and Forward Air Controller. After leaving the Marine Corps, he captained a sailing vessel with his wife through the Caribbean Sea and into the Pacific Ocean. Dr. Marvil earned his M.D. from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and was a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He enjoys treating all ages from newborns to geriatrics and the broad spectrum of disease encompassed by Family Medicine. Dr. Marvil believes in lifestyle as medicine to prevent and treat many of the chronic diseases facing our society.

He is married with 2 young children and enjoys adventuring with his family into Idaho outdoors to hunt, fish, hike, and camp.
