Meet Our Doctors
Morgan Ford
M.D.
Board Certified Family Medicine Physician
Dr. Ford grew up in a small rural town in central Nebraska. He graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1995, and graduated from medical School at Creighton University in 1999. He completed his Family Medicine residency at the Montana Family Medicine Residency in Billings, MT in 2002, and came directly to Post Falls Family Medicine. He has been Board Certified in Family Medicine since 2002. He enjoys treating a wide variety of age groups, from infants to the elderly, and a wide variety of complaints such as illness, injury, chronic disease management, wellness, and mental health conditions.
He has 4 children with whom he spends the majority of his time outside of work. He enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including hunting, flyfishing, hiking, camping, golf, and travel.
Michael Hillman
D.O.
Board Certified Family Medicine Physician
Dr. Michael Hillman is a board-certified Family Physician who joined Post Falls Family Medicine in September 2024 after completing his residency at Spokane Family Medicine Residency/Sacred Heart. He graduated from Eastern Oregon University with honors with a BS in Molecular Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He was a student athlete on the men’s basketball team. He then attended Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine where he was a member of the Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Medical Society. His medical interests include incorporating lifestyle as preventative medicine, Sports Medicine related injuries and Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy. His professional philosophy is to serve with excellence and compassion, caring for the whole person.
His hobbies outside of medicine are spending time with his wife and three young children, exercising, camping, hiking/backpacking the Northwest and watching Gonzaga Basketball.
Patrick Marvil
M.D.
Board Certified Family Medicine Physician
Dr. Patrick Marvil is a board-certified Family Physician who joined Post Falls Family Medicine in 2021 after completing his residency at Kootenai Clinic Family Medicine Residency of Coeur d’Alene. He received a BS in Oceanography with Honors from the United States Naval Academy. He then went on to serve as a Marine helicopter pilot and Forward Air Controller. After leaving the Marine Corps, he captained a sailing vessel with his wife through the Caribbean Sea and into the Pacific Ocean. Dr. Marvil earned his M.D. from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and was a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He enjoys treating all ages from newborns to geriatrics and the broad spectrum of disease encompassed by Family Medicine. Dr. Marvil believes in lifestyle as medicine to prevent and treat many of the chronic diseases facing our society.
He is married with 2 young children and enjoys adventuring with his family into Idaho outdoors to hunt, fish, hike, and camp.
Michael Monohan
D.O.
Board Certified Family Medicine Physician
Michael Monohan D.O. is a Board Certified Family Physician who has been practicing at Post Falls Family Medicine since 2006 after moving from Colville, Washington. Dr. Monohan worked in Colville between 2003 and 2006 as an Emergency Room Physician for Mt. Carmel Hospital and as a Family Physician for NE Washington Medical Group. In 2004, he was recalled for one year in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. As a Lieutenant Commander in the US Naval Reserves at that time, he was assigned to be the Senior Medical Officer for Branch Clinic Miramar in San Diego, CA where he helped care for Active Duty Marines and their families.
Prior to his time practicing in Colville, he completed a rural training track residency through Family Medicine Spokane and a Family Medicine Internship in Portland, OR. He also spent three years from 1997-2000 as a Battalion and Regimental Surgeon for the 3rd Marine Regiment stationed out of Hawaii and Okinawa, Japan. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree at Eastern Oregon University and his Doctorate through Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Prior to medical school, one of his many jobs included working outdoors for the US Forest Service as a Biology Technician and Firefighter in both Northern California and Northeastern Oregon. He still enjoys spending his free time participating in the many outdoor activities that the Inland Northwest has to offer, when he is not following his children through their many academic and sports endeavors.
Anthony Peters
D.O.
Board Certified Family Medicine Physician
He is married with three children. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fly fishing and tying, mountain biking, snowboarding, golfing and coaching parks and recreation soccer.

Sara Bradley
Certified Nurse Practitioner
Sara Bradley is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from San Francisco State University and Master of Science in nursing from Gonzaga University. Her background includes 10 years of nursing experience in critical care and medical aesthetics. Sara and her family moved to North Idaho from California in 2015 after visiting Coeur d Alene and falling in love with the area. In her free time, Sara enjoys hiking, baking, and exploring the Inland Northwest with her husband, Ryan, and their three boys.
Matt Palmer
Certified Nurse Practitioner
Matt Palmer is a board-certified family Nurse Practitioner. He earned his Bachelors degree from Lewis-Clark State College and his Master’s degree from Northwest Nazarene University. His prior experience includes 8 years of medical/ surgical and peri anesthesia nursing and another 4 years and counting as a nurse practitioner with a focus on family practice. Prior to going to nursing school Matt was enlisted in the US army and did two deployments to Iraq. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, fishing, reading and spending time with his wife and two sons. He is originally a Montana native and has lived in Idaho since 2010 and has no intention of leaving.
Shauna Spellman
Certified Nurse Practitioner
Shauna Spellman grew up in Spokane. She attended Eastern Washington/Intercollegiate Nursing School where she acquired a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree. She worked at Valley Hospital and Medical Center as a Registered Nurse before returning to school to obtain a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Gonzaga University. She has worked as an Advance Registered Nurse Practitioner at Post Falls Family Medicine since 1999.
Shauna enjoys treating every age and stage of life. She is married and has two children. She spends most of her free time with her kids, attending their many activities. She also enjoys camping, gardening and travel.
