Women’s Health

With myriad other responsibilities to tackle, it’s easy for regular health visits to fall to the wayside. We know that you’re busy, but we want you to know that we’re here to make the process as easy as possible for you.

Your health is undeniably important and our number one priority. Our providers will work together with you on prevention and identifying and addressing potential health issues to get you back to what matters most to you. That’s why we offer a wide variety of comprehensive treatment options to our female patients.

Physicals / Wellness Exams

Annual wellness exams focus on preventative care. We will cover things like breast, cervical, colon and lung cancer screenings, lifestyle measures to prevent disease like nutrition and exercise, vaccinations, and other aspects of your care to help you avoid illness and be as healthy and feel as well as possible.

Our approach is patient-centered and individualized. We don’t just offer generalized health care. Depending on your age, general health, family history, and other individual factors, your annual wellness exam may look different from the next patient’s. This allows us to offer the care that is best for you, not what’s best for everyone else.

Regularly Scheduled Pap Smear and Breast Exam

Some of the health conditions that affect only women do not have symptoms or warning signs. The human papillomavirus and cervical and breast cancers, among others, can be difficult to detect without regular medical care. Your primary care provider can offer regular screenings to catch these and other conditions in their early stages when they’re easiest to treat. Appropriately scheduled Pap smears and mammograms should be at the top of your list when it comes to staying healthy.

Family Planning, Birth Control and Pregnancy Testing

Your family planning services may include various methods of birth control, pregnancy tests in our onsite lab, guidance, and information. We believe that all families are beautiful and worthy of the highest level of quality care, so that’s what we aim to offer to each of our patients.

Menopause

Managing menopause-related symptoms can be challenging, and they can begin in the perimenopausal period. Common symptoms include irregular periods, hot flashes or chills, vaginal dryness, night sweats, mood changes, weight gain, and difficulty sleeping. The good news is that menopause symptoms can often be effectively managed, reducing their potential for disruption of your life.
